Co-production is one of the few tools that open the international markets for national films, contributing at the same time to the domestic box office.

Producers, representatives of international funds and the Ministry of Culture of Russia will gather in Russian Pavilion to discuss the most effective models, instruments of official coproduction, private initiatives, case studies of successful projects and the ways to develop new strategic partnerships.

Presentation of GLOBAL RUSSIANS 2015


Annual DVD-almanac of the best Russian short films presented also in the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Marché du Film. This year’s almanac includes five shorts by students of the internationally acclaimed Russian filmmaker Alexander Sokurov: three works of Alexander Sokurov’s students of Kabardino-Balkarian State University, one film produced by Non-commercial Foundation for Cinema Support An Example of Intonation (Alexander Sokurov's foundation, St. Petersburg) and film-winner of Alexander Sokurov’s cinema laboratory C.L.A.S. that took place at St. Petersburg International Media Forum (SPIMF) 2014.
